Murf’s Code Classes are taught by instructors John Murphy, Jr., Tom Cunningham, and John Murphy, Sr. Each instructor has been in the electrical industry for over 25 years and brings a unique perspective to the discussions. Instruction includes hot works requirements that is required by Massachusetts regulations for electricians.
We offer the 15 hour NEC update and 6-hour continuing education classes in various locations throughout Massachusetts. Each of our educators are approved by the board of electricians in 5 New England states to provide completion certificates which means one class will satisfy multiple state requirements. Providers are approved for Massachusetts C & D license holders.

Thomas Cunningham

Tom is a Master Electrician and Journeyman in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He serves on the MA Board of Electricians. He currently works as a General Foreman with one of the country’s largest electrical contractors. With 30 years of industry experience, he has taught hundreds of electricians in Apprentice training programs, OSHA, and NEC Code, and is a certified NCCER instructor.
